I am trying to improve that overall quality of my streams without causing my gameplay to lag, if I turn it up to much it spikes my ping. Also I am starting to see lag spikes if I use OBS for over an hour, is there something I can do to fix this?

It would make it easier for us to help you if we knew more about your setup. What are your computer's specifications? What are your settings in OBS, including resolution, bitrate, and preset? What's the speed on your connection, and where are you trying to stream? Are you dropping any frames?

If you need anything else ask me, also I am trying to use the simple scene switcher plugin with LoL, which is the game I am trying to stream, and it doesn't seem to work correctly, or as I thought it would, after setting it up with the game capture and then closing the game, I have to redo the settings on the plugin for it to use the main scene when I launch the game, any help to this would be appreciated as I think having a monitor capture only is causing some in game lag.

There is nothing to do, you are already pretty much maxing out your available upload speed. Though I do question why you are using quality balance 3, and only 25 FPS. Your machine and chosen bitrate are enough for 30 FPS at that resolution with about quality balance 8 or so.

Also, please don't bump threads every hour, it's unnecessary.

Ok sorry np, and the reason is after about 5 minutes in a LoL game it starts to make my ping go crazy. I have no clue why, if it is that low it takes longer to do it, maybe it is the server I am streaming to for twitch? Like I said I live in Illinois and I am using the Chicago server.

Yes I actually have that on all the time now, also I did a upload test at testmy.net and my upload speed is way lower than what speedtest.net says, 1139, so I changed everything according to that and also set my base resolution to 1280x720, trying it out now.

How do I get the simple scene switcher to work with a client based game like LoL?
