Question / Help image slideshow not switching after first scene

Hello,

Can anyone please help me out with my issue? I am trying to make a few scenes for a stream with songs. I've typed out the lyrics on .png files. My firs scene is the video from the camera. Second is the first song - camera source with png image sequence. I've done it this way so the lyrics can come up with a simple fade and then go away when I revert to the camera source (scene 1). When I want to play my third scene (song 2) the lyrics from the first slide comes up and in no way can i get it to change to the second png. I've set up hot keys, numbered the png files with 01, 02, 03... and put every song in a separate directory. Switching between images is set to manual. Everything works ok with the first song (scene 2). Every other scene stays still on the first png file ant that's it.

The Image Slideshow source has a limit of 250MB for all images. That's a bit deceptive though, as it's the *uncompressed* image size. If you want to see the uncompressed image size, re-save all of your PNGs as BMP; that will save them uncompressed. Once the limit is reached, no more images in the slideshow will be displayed.

It's a better idea to do this in a Browser Source, using a webpage with CSS animation to handle the text fade-in/out.

All the png files for the songs are a total of 3mb. It's plane text with no background. White letters with a shadow so they appeare over the camera source.

Again, re-save them as BMP to see how big they actually are when added to the Slideshow. That 250MB is the uncompressed file size, NOT the PNG compressed size.

aah! Ok, I understood what you mean. :)
Is there a way I can do my lyrics with the built in text instead of using external files? Maybe every new paragraph in a new scene with text and just by clicking through the scenes with the mouse would be simple and strait forward?

Yes, that would work.
