Question / Help Image slide show - having images work as a popup?

Hello! I've been wanting to have an image popup on my stream for a while now. The problem is that if I use the image slide show each image will stay on the stream until the next image is being shown.

What I want to be able to do is: Have one image pop up every 15minutes or so, and have it being up for 10-15 seconds.

Is this possible using Image Slide Show? If so, how!?

If it isn't possible using slide show, is there any other way I could possibly achieve the same result?

Thanks a million! I hope there's someone out there who can help me figure this out.

Well... the stupid-but-works way would be to make a tiny (to save HDD space), empty image with alpha-channel, and copy it a bunch of times to act as a 'spacer'. But there's no delay function in the slideshow layer of which I'm aware.

So you'd create your image, and assuming a 15 second display and 10 minute desired quell, set the slideshow pause rate to 15 seconds. Then create 39 (60/15 = 4, 4 * 10 minutes = 40, -1 for the actual image) copies of your blanker image and name them all sequentially. I'd recommend something like 000-image.png, 001-blank.png, 002-blank.png to make it easier to find and swap out your banners.

Alternately, find someone who can code in Flash and have them make you a display app like you're looking for, install the CLR browser plugin, and run the flash app as a browser layer in that. Could use slide-out transitions and other advanced animation effects at that point.

I can't believe I didn't think about that. That's brilliant!

Naturally this would make it impossible for me to randomize the images, but I guess it'll have to do!
