Image Sequence not fully importing/displaying

Good day.
I have a sequence of pictures that I want to use in a live stream as an animation for a subscribe button. However, the entire sequence either don't import or doesn't fully play, showing only a short instance of the sequence before stopping.

I would just like to ask the following questions:
  • is there a limit on the number of images that can be used in an image slideshow or might I be doing something wrong?
  • Is there another way in which to show such an animation without using a media source? (I made a video for the sequence, but can't create a transparent background when creating the video)
Please let me know what detail I can provide. Attached is the settings for the image slideshow sequence. I also tried adding the images individually, but with no success.

There is currently a hard coded limit of 250MB of uncompressed image data (width * height * 4) to avoid filling GPU memory. There are plans to remove this in a future version when a pre-loading mechanism is added.

Hi ! I had last year a Youtube live stream with a perfectly working slideshow using an old OBS version for almost a year, I don't remember the version, but I found that here, in the forum, I think is the last OBS version where OBS allowed any number of pics for slideshow. But I want to use the new versions and I have now another Youtube live stream, so, that "in the future" is not working for me. Also, I don't want to use a window capture from another slideshow program, because that window would be always in the screen and I need to use the computer for updates and other maintenance. I'm thinking in programming a plugin in C/C++, if possible. How can do it ? Where can I find the info for OBS plugin programming ? I just thought another solution can be capturing a window from another screen, with a multi-screen software, having two desktops... I'll try that too. Thanks !
