I'm using OBS and want to Record Voice files only

I'm using OBS and want to Record Voice files only, can I get just the voice recording without any video capture? I'm not seeing any setting to stop the video or screen recording. I just need to create a voice recording file in mp4 format or wav file is fine too. Any help is appreciated THANKS

Why don‘t u use „Audacity“? Its a Freeware Audio Editing/Recording Software

Yes I think OBS is over kill for just voice recordings but I thought I'd see if OBS can do it too. Thanks

There isn't any setting to disable the video, but as long as there is no video source in the scene, then video would not be recorded. This will allow you can record mp4 containing audio only. I have done this in the past because I needed the Compressor & Gate filter provided by OBS.

AudaCity would be better for that, it also allows you to directly record as .wav or .flac file for lossless recording.
