Okay, so I watched a video on how to do everything in this program, understood everything. So I downloaded it, started it up, set my settings and tried to preview it. Then I got this:
secbhc.jpg

Could not initalize DirectX on Intel(R) 946GZ Express Chipset Family.
This error can happen for one of the following reasons:

  1. Your GPU is not supported (DirectX 10 is required - note that many integrated laptop GPUs do not support DX10)
  2. Your running Windows Vista without the "Platform Update"
  3. Your video card drivers are out of date
If you are using a laptop with NVIDIA Optimus or AMD Switchable Graphics, make sure OBS is set to run on the high performance GPU in your driver settings.

My graphics chip is Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2140

I have DirectX 11

If you need anymore information, I can find it.

From what I can tell, your CPU does not have integrated graphics. we would need to know a bit more info to tell you definitely. all that being said however, whats happening is whatever your running GFX from does not support DX10. your system may say DX11 is installed, however installed DX vs DX that your system can actually USE are different. unfortunately if you want to stream you will probably have to upgrade your GFX card/PC

The answer is right in the OBS error message:
You have Intel(R) 946GZ Express Chipset Family which lacks support of necessary functions.
On your current system you cannot use OBS, sry.
