Question / Help I'm getting black screens while trying to record my browser.

So I'm trying to record a video about a game on my browser, but I cannot record it. I simply get a black screen. I use Google Chrome. If more details are needed, I'm willing to give them. I'm considering just trying out Firefox, but I don't want to take such a drastic step out of no where.

Google change something in chrome's engine back in version 50 that broke OBS' ability to window capture it.
If your game requires hardware acceleration to maintain performance you are going to need to switch to firefox.
Otherwise, disable hardware acceleration in chrome.

Okay, thank you Harold. I'll just switch to Firefox, I have no browser preference as long as it isn't something like V9
