Question / Help iGPU enabled but Quicksync not available

As the title said I was trying to get Quicksync working. I went into bios and enabled the iGPU(I'm running I5 2500k with asus P8Z68 PRO/GEN3 mobo) and proceeded to install the latest intel graphics drivers. I was able to force a fake VGA connection in windows but the quicksync option was greyed out in OBS. I then proceeded to attach a HDMI cable from my mobo to my 2nd monitor so that the monitor was now running on the iGPU so that I knew the iGPU was working. However OBS's quicksync option was still greyed out in both v0.571b and the aquaman build.

Anyone know why OBS wont recognize that i have iGPU enabled and utilize it, and/or know how to fix this?

I would provide a log or crash dump had this been applicable.

z68 boards should support QuickSync, so I'm not sure what would be going wrong here.

EDIT: Apparently I'm mistaken...I thought a mobo with an iGPU, the right chipset, and Sandy Bridge or higher was enough...apparently the mobo has to specifically support QuickSync, too. Good to know.
