Question / Help I'd like to use OBS as a 'software testing dash camera', can it be done?

Hi

I'm a software tester

It can be of great value to me to be able to replay the sequence of actions I made that resulted in a "bug".

Cars have dash cams. the dash cams record everything but discard of "old" footage every X minutes.

So that got me thinking..can this be done with OBS? record a day's worth of work (8 hours of software testing) and only keeping the last 30 minutes?

Not sure if you can set a 30 minute replay buffer, but saving text wouldn't require a massive bitrate, so maybe.

I imagine there's a sanity check that allows less than 1800 seconds of buffer though. Even if so, maybe you can change the code and recompile it, if you're a programmer.
