So i decided to say fuck the second streaming pc because of so much shit to do... ._. rip

so ive got this bad boy here and pretty much 2 extra cores for streaming. Im just wondering what i could change since its a powerful cpu this time.

Like can i change my preset to something else or

What would be the max streaming setting for a thing like this ?

Talking about 1080p 60 fps 3500 bitrate

I dont really want to stream that high but 720p 60 3500 bit would be where im atm maybe lower but yeah i dunno

I just cant tell how i can tell what a single core does to streaming. I know i probably have 4 cores for streaming BUT what does that really mean? is one core 200 extra pixels to stream etc? im so lost lol

You always have to test a bit, as the CPU and GPU usage vary from game to game. Start by increasing the preset step by step and testing each preset by playing for a few minutes, preferably a game with higher cpu/gpu usage.
Definitely stick to 720p 30 to 60fps but maybe use a lower bitrate if possible. Especially on Twitch it can help your possible viewers get a more fluid viewing experience without buffering. Around 2000kbit is a good sweet spot.

While going through the presets (very fast -> faster -> faster -> ...) you should encounter a point where your fps might go down or OBS will report a high cpu usage, then just go back to the preset you used before and you should be good for most circumstances.
New games might require you to re-check the presets at a later point though.
