Question / Help i5-4690k@4.5GHz, Preset Ultrafast and lags

Hi, I am Taneroth, and I've got a problem... here is my PC spec:

i5-4690k@ 4.5GHz 1.27V
AMD Radeon R9 290 (overclocked by about 10%)
8GB RAM 1600MHz (2 x 4GB dual channel)
OCZ ARC 100 240GB (folder for recorder files)

I am going to record 1080p 60fps gameplays, then render it in Sony Vegas and send to YouTube.

But unfortunately in any OBS settings I am getting a short lags overy 5 secounds. I set my x264 preset to "Veryfast" and then I've got even more lags... On "Ultrafast" preset settings lags are a little bit smaller but they still are. FPS is almost always 60... Sometimes (not so often) it goes down to 50-55 but it shouldn't cause any short mega lags... Tell me if it depends on my processor? Do I have to buy a i7-4790k or i7-5775C to eliminate this problem and for softly recording and fully fluency 60 fps? Is it necessary to upgrade my computer or I need to change any options? But trust me... I've tried everything... My RAM usage is about 6000 while recording... GPU usage is changeable (about 20-80%) but processor is about 60-80%. What have I do? Please help me because I can't imagine to record gameplays using any other program...

Yes, post a log from your help menu during a normal recording.

Another alternative is to use VCE:

it will do 1080@60 but you will need to enable custom VCE settings in the VCE menu and set the preset to speed or balanced depending on the game.

The above is a forked branch of OBS with VCE support for your R9 290 and will work. Please read through the OP to get an idea of what you will need to run it (MSC++ both 32 and 64bit and 7Zip)
