Question / Help I420, MJPEG, XRGB

I currently use i420 to stream my C920 webcam with no problems.
I have the option to select any of the three video formats.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these three video formats?

Also, I stream another cam simultaneously with the C-920, It's a Microsoft LifeCam Studio cam.
It only has the MJPEG option for the video format...Why doesn't it offer the same three my C920 offers?

Formats used to transmit picture from the cam to PC:

• I420 - moderate compression (only color compressed, moderate bandwidth required);
• MJPEG - high compression (low bandwidth required);
• XRGB - no compression (high bandwidth required).

Availability of formats depends on hardware.
