Question / Help i3-6100 or i5-6500 for recording ps4 gameplay with obs.

Building on a pretty tight budget for a youtube channel, what hardware would be good for recording 1080p30fps using obs to capture ps4 gameplay through a hauppauge hd pvr 2 with a webcam?

I don't really know what is important for obs, should i have a lower end cpu and a higher end gpu or a higher end cpu and no gpu or somehwere in the middle.

as of right now i have a i3-6300 and a 750ti and am sitting at $800 total for everything i need, this is basically the highest i can go, any help is appreciated.

side note: this pc will not be doing any editing or rendering just being used as a simple pc that records and could maybe stream if possilbe

If you are JUST planning to record/ PS4 gameplay and NOT game on the PC, then you don't really need a gtx 750ti as the CPU will do all the encoding of the video. Now if you are planning to game on the PC then you would need to buy a dedicated GPU.

If i was building a dedicated gaming PC for recording consoles, then i would scrap the SSD, GPU and replace the i3 CPU with a i5 6500 as it has more cores
