I never really post questions on forums but I thought I'd do it this time, so I want to know why I keep getting the warning of encoding taking too long skipping frames I am trying to stream to twitch, I already know that twitch likes 3500 for 1080p well I don't care about getting 1080p if I can get 720p I am happy, I have tried going with a bitrate of 1800 but that does not work either I am so confused as I have tried everything the only thing I can think of is that I am using a Mac that is running windows Virtually using a program called Parallels Desktop the reason I am using OBS is because I get a lot of lag when I try to use Camtwist and Flash Media live Encoder on my mac nothing I do works. my Display adapter is the Parallels display adapter I am just so upset and confused as I have spent hours trying to get the frame skipping issue to go away I tried every setting in OBS to get it to work but for some reason when I have it in the advanced setting x264 preset to ultrafast the frame skipping does it a lot less but in veryfast the default setting it tends to want to freeze. Here is a test log that I have to show more of what my settings are as I am at a lose and don't know what else to do. Maybe someone else can tell me what I can do or even if I can livestream at all on my mac I have 8GB of ram my mac is a 2009 macbook and I know it may be a little old but it still should be fast enough to livestream gameplays of at least 720p in quality.
