Question / Help I want to enable quick sync on my i7 2600k

However, my motherboard has no video out.

It is an MSI P67A-GD53. I am fairly sure the BIOS does not include any option to turn on the onboard GPU because of the lack of video out. But I guess that wouldn't matter and still could be used for OBS?

Is there a way to achieve what I seek, until I upgrade my hardware?

Thanks

Barely any old Board supported QSV or the iGPU so if theres no Option you can also look at the MSI Page but I highly doubt the Board supports it thus it is impossible to be enabled.

The i7 2600k is perfectly fine for almost any streaming Task right now. (Depending on the Game)

Quicksync is not supported by the P67 chipset, and thus it is impossible for a computer with a P67 motherboard to use Quicksync with OBS, or anything else.

OK thanks, I guess it's time to upgrade, then... I was going to get a second GTX 970 before they run out... Hm... decisions, decisions.

Why are you deadset on using Quicksync by the way? The 2600k, Quicksync notwithstanding, is a great CPU for both gaming and streaming, even today. You just use x264 and/or NVEnc.

Well, the NVenc gives poor quality, and the x264 decreases my FPS way too much for my liking. I've heard that Quick Sync is really the best of both worlds, so I definitely want that.

Well I guess I could use my laptop as an encoding PC, by purchasing an USB video in card, but I don't like the idea of running it at max for hours on end.
