Question / Help I want the OBS Replay Buffer to save 20 minutes of footage.

I have the replay buffer time on OBS set to 1200 seconds which is 20 minutes, but when I hit the button to save the replay it only ends up saving the past 8 minutes and 49 seconds of footage. Does OBS simply not save more than that, or is this a hardware/settings issue of mine?

The replay buffer is filled with encoded video from the "recording" settings. If you configured a variable bitrate rate control such as CQP, you cannot predict how big the memory buffer is, because, well, the bitrate is variable. So you have to guess the required memory, and for this you are able to configure the maximum memory setting in the "replay buffer" tab. If you only get 9 minutes with the current settings and want 20 minutes, double the existing maximum memory value and add a small amount on top of it.
