Hello everyone!

I have finally decided that I want to start streaming on Twitch, and this is the wonderful broadcasting software I wish to use! I have tried to follow many guides on Youtube, as well as written guides, to no avail. Every time I try to stream it doesn't look smooth at all when someone is watching it.

Let's start off with my specs....

GPU : GTX 970
CPU : AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor 3.79 GHz
RAM : 16 GB
MB : Sabertooth 990 FX
OS : Win 7 64bit

Speed Test : 10 Ping --- 62.54 Mbps -- 2.83 Mbps

Now that that is out of the way, what do you need from me? I can take snips of any image on OBS Studio, I just really need help setting it all up. I just know my internet can't be THAT bad to where I can't have decent quality streams, and not have a jittery image for all to see. Any help would be appreciated, as this is something I really REALLY want to get into, but have hit a roadblock.

Thanks in advanced! <3

Have you tried Tools, Auto-Configuration wizard and seeing what that gets you.

If you really only have 2.8 Mbps upload speed you'll be really restricted on resolution and frame rate.

I actually have! I'm still getting like 20 frames on my stream, and it's only letting me run at 520p or something like that? I really hope it's not my internet, because that's the absolute fastest that I have available for my area. -_- Stupid po-dunk town.

OK you have max bandwidth of about 2800 which means you could maybe stream at 2000 if you were lucky. The network quality is really poor to Twitch as well so that's not going to help.

Basically the Auto-Configuration wizard worked out your best settings 520p at 30 fps should work in here but then your bandwidth quality is probably causing the dropped frames.

So yep it's your ISP connection that's causing issues :-( but you'd not be able to stream at a great resolution/frame rate combination even if your broadband was perfect
