Make sure the sample rate of every audio device you're using is the same, as well as OBS's output sample rate. Preferably 48,000hz.

Great I will do that! as for the ones I already have, is there a way to make the voice speed go to normal? any conversion page that could do it if I convert from .flv to other format? Thanks a lot for the input! I really appreciate it!

That would have to be done piece-mail in an actual audio editing program, as it sounds like that's baked into the actual recording. Not something you could fix by just changing the sample rate after the fact.

As far as changing the container from .flv to something else, you might be able to use OBS's remux capability to do that, but I'm not that familiar myself. If not, you can use something like FFmpegYAG or any other program that has the capability of remuxing files without re-encoding.

I'm having exactly the same problem.

My vocal mic is an SM58 going into an Alesis io2 express audio interface. I can confirm that the interface is sending at 48k because if I record it into Reaper at that rate the pitch is consistent. If I change the record sample rate to 44.1k In Reaper then I get the lower voice effect.

I've confirmed that OBS is set to 48000 in the audio settings and yet I'm still getting a pitch shift of 2 semitones lower. If I use a USB microphone then the pitch is correct but it sounds far worse than the vocal mic/audio interface (which works on Reaper, Audacity, and every other software I could test).

It's interesting that changing the sample rate in OBS from 48k to 44.1k, restarting the app, and retesting makes no difference at all.

So I am also very interested in the solution.

7 months later and still no answer. I would love to relaunch my YouTube channel. I guess I'll have to find a recording software which actually works.
