I record my desktop with OBS, but i get audio drops / glitches

check this video at 0:10 - you can hear a CRACKLE while the audio skips a little bit and keeps playing

this is super annoying because I am making music....

Any workarounds?

I suspected overloaded PC - real-time video encoding is VERY computationally demanding. and if you follow other tutorials on bling heavy setups, you can drive CPU and GPU load even higher.. just a word of warning about expectations of what can be accomplished with a non-optimized PC and OBS settings

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...
