So I'm recording a video of something using both a camera and an external sound card. My problem is that the camera's video lags a bit. This might be because it's the cheapest 1080 camera I could find or maybe my Decklink cards incur a slight delay. Either way, I've checked with Blender and with a 1080p30 recording the sound is ahead of the video by 5 frames, so 166ms.
I'm doing this on a Ubuntu 15.10 box which uses PulseAudio, and I've tried to set a latency offset of 166.67ms to the input device in pavucontrol, but it would appear that OBS automatically corrects for this because the 5-frame delay remains.
Who has some thoughts on what I could do here?
