I am familiar with lua from scripting with other programs, so I should be able to go off once I get started but I don't know how or where to get started. I found the scripting doc but I don't have a "tools menu" in my OBS. Would I have to install Python whether I use it or not? Or did I not get the right version of OBS? Or is it something else?
Also, I should ask this before I get too deeply invested in trying. Is it possible to edit sources (more specifically, image/file sources)? I would ultimately want to edit sources using lua (like a command line; I already have that part set up and I just need to add the OBS parts to it). Doing that would be much faster than manually editing the sources and convenient as well.
