I've got a okay computer
Intelcore I7-2600
8gb ram
GeForce GTX 670

Can't remember more specs, but I would say I set it to modest setting. I go 3000 max bitrate, 2000 buffer size
60FPS
x264CPU preset, fasterE

Though my computer is really get strained when streaming my CPU goes up to 87-98%. What I would love to get help with is how to set up my stream, so that my computer isn't dying when I'm streaming

The lower the preset for encoding speed, the more CPU usage the program will take esp if you trying to play a game in full screen with maxed out settings, try a higher preset if faster isnt working for you.

Reducing your FPS to 30 (or even 45) would most definitely make your system more responsive. We really need to know the content you're streaming. Something like a MOBA or a RTS has a lot less action then a FPS, so you can stream the others with a higher resolution.

Posting a log would definitely help us understand issues you're experiencing better.
