Hello,
yeah well.... I signed up for this forum because I am desperate. I got a new PC recently - not a beast, but a decent one I guess:
Mainboard:MSI Z170A Gaming M3, Intel Z170
Processor:Intel Core i5 6600K overcl. 4x 4.2GHz
RAM memory:8GB OC DDR4-RAM PC-2400
Graficcard:Nvidia GeForce GTX1070 8GB, Palit Founders Edition
Harddrive:SSD 120GB S-ATA3
2. Harddrive:3000GB S-ATA3, 600MB/Sec
Now I tried a lot of settings to record for my youtube channel. A lot. Recommendations from youtube friends, tutorials from youtube and forums and well... with THESE tutorial I recently managed to record "The Sims4" in 1080p60 fluently - I still had the problem with my facecam, which was sometimes totally delayed to the sound but I guess this is another sad topic which I will have to figure out.
Well, now here is the thing: The settings seem to be too high for my PC - not for Sims but for other games like Overwatch and The forest - my CPU peaks directly to 100% for those games and I can only continue to play with horrible lags.
PLEASE help me - I am a total noob and do not get where to decrease my settings or what to do at all. I am grateful for any advice. I know it must be possible to record 1920x1080 with 60 frames - maybe I just have to use my GPU instead of my CPU? No idea, really. It could even be that there is something wrong with my new PC in general but I could not know.
So... maybe someone can help me to find the ideal recording settings? Thank you very much for any advice! (Also I am sorry for my English, it is not my first language).
