I hope OPS studio can add the feature to restart the stream when the Internet goes down for a few seconds.

I'm really hoping that obs studio can add the option to restart my stream to YouTube when the Internet goes down for a few seconds. It's a real nice option and all the other streaming services have that option I really wish obs would start to implement that. As is right now if I reboot my camera obs does not reconnect and if my Internet goes down for even 10 seconds obs does not reconnect to YouTube makes it really hard to do a 24/7 365 stream.

Thanks,

And I think the reason it doesn't free start the streams is because when the Internet goes down for a few seconds obvious pops up two warning boxes and I have to click OK on each one of those to close them then I have to close obs and reopen it to start the stream so there's actually no way that that check box can restart it. Ideally if the check box feature for restarting the stream worked I would never end up with those two warning boxes and have to close and reopen obs to restart the stream

Please, clarify what pop ups you see (next time it happens - make screenshots and share them).
Also, OBS log-file needed exactly from the aborted streaming session (find it in the main menu Help > Log Files > Show Log Files by time and date and attach to your post here).

Yes exactly. Just waiting for the Internet to have a hiccup again and I'll get a screenshot of those. I could unplug the Internet modem but I don't want to make the live streams go down if I don't have to.

OK Internet went down for a few seconds last night at 11:25, so my streams were down all night. This is the error I get every time, and it has never restarted the stream, ever. I've been asking for help on this for many months now. You guys just send back a picture to check the box to automatically reconnect the stream and I keep saying that doesn't work at all, never has. I really need help with this it's very important that my streams continually go 24/7 365.

And because this stream was down all night YouTube just deletes my live stream URL and I lose my 1.5 million views and my hundreds of thousands of thumbs up and my URL's and I have to recreate all that so I really need to get this to reconnect the stream the Internet was only down for three seconds.

Reconnecting to YT stream works for me just fine. I have a sometimes flakey WIFI which goes down every now and then. But so far OBS always was able to reconnect to the stream.

Looking at your error messages this looks more like an issue of your system rather than OBS.

Yeah I don't think it's on my end I've never had an issue when I used Camstreamer they used to be live all year. This is only since I switch to OBS. Like I said it's a dedicated poweredge R740 server only running obs. I have CAT 8 wiring, cameras are hard wired, A 48 port Gigabit POE Cisco switch. I'm an IT guy of 32 years, everything's really good on my end, I check everything out before I even get on the forums.

I really hope we can get to the bottom of this. I shouldn't have to get up every morning at 5:00 AM and check to see if the streams are still going. And if they stop for a long period of time YouTube deletes the URL and I lose everything and it takes me hours to redo the links in all the descriptions for 275 videos etc, I've been trying to figure this out for months I've asked for help over and over and over. I really wanna use OBS but at this point I may have to go back to Cam streamer I cannot keep doing this I just wish it would reconnect. Internet only goes down a few seconds maybe once a month but like last night it caused me several hours worth of work and I lose everything the URLs the viewers the thumbs up...

I have over 10 grand into the infrastructure to stream these three cameras I don't know what more I can do.

I have no solution for your issue. But if you want to experiment a bit, there is "Advanced Scene Switcher" plugin.
It has some conditions and actions that may (or may not) help you to solve your issue with OBS. At least, this plugin supports some automation.

OK thanks. I need to get this figured out before January that's when nesting season will start and I'll have anywhere from 600 to 2000 people on the live stream 24/7 for about 5 months, that's the most important time for the channel it's off season right now so I just really need to figure this out. Like I said if I can't figure it out I'll scrap the OVS server and go back to Cam streamer that's a very reliable setup. But unfortunately I can't do the whether in the picture and the picture enough scrolling facts it's just going to be a single video.

Again if anyone can help me get to the bottom of this I would really appreciate it, I really need the streams to restart automatically when the Internet goes down for a few seconds. And I also know it doesn't restart if I reboot the cameras, so it doesn't start on either end, if the stream from the camera goes down, or the connection to YouTube goes down, neither one of them restart.

And again I keep asking is this because I have 3 streams running simultaneously on that OS server? I'm here to troubleshoot or help in any way I can I really need to figure this out.
