Question / Help I have problems with my audio

So I'm an artist, and I like to record the progress of my digital drawings using obs. Then maybe edit the clips together and upload them to YT.

I like to do my drawings while listening to music from YT or Spotify. However, just now when I wanted to continue a drawing, my music was already playing, and as soon as I opened obs, the music just muted, I wasn't even recording.

Can somebody please tell me if I can fix it or not, or at least explain why it happened.
 
Did not understand your problem well. However, I presume that you were trying to capture your desktop and mix it with audio. Please check which audio source you were using. You have to select the correct audio device. Either your desktop audio or your connected device.
