Hello.
So I am a streamer from a country which doesn't have good internet.
I have ADSL one, 12MB download 0.8 upload
And 4G one, around 5 download and 20 upload
And I just got 4G internet key that I can like load up from 2GB to 10GB
Thing is today I tried for the first time ever, the Bind to Interface, so I chose that OBS uses my 4G internet only
And I used 1500 rates, tried also with 1200
It consumed around 200 MB for 20 minutes
No difference in using both rates at 1500/1200
I tried a last time, stream lasted 34 minutes, I was playing league of legends, listening to music on youtube, and then my 4G was over.
Found out it consumed around 350MB for 34 minutes, playing one game, I couldn't even finish it, had to switch back to ADSL and then turn off the stream because the quality with 0.8 upload is just awful.
While with 4G the quality is just great and when I used bind interface, my ping was stable, fixed at 55, which is the initial ping I have when I play under ADSL, so I guess LoL was running under ADSL, but what would have consumed that much ?
Normally a streamed league game shouldn't consume 10MB per minute imo
I made sure that everything related to internet was closed before trying on the last attempt, besides LoL/Youtube, and yet.. Nothing changed.
Any ideas ?
