I don’t know how to get started

Hi I’m trying to setup a Twitch broadcast for the future so I thought I’d use OBS but its been a lot of trouble. Every time I open OBS this comes up. I’ve tried finding YouTube tutorials for this but this never comes up when they open. I have tried fiddling around with this. I’ve gone through the overview and guide.
It seemed like this wasn’t normal so I uninstalled the app and reinstalled but the same thing happened. So I uninstalled and updated mac and then reinstalled but this is what appears.
Wherever I click nothing happens. I really don’t know where to get started if this is how it is but not for anyone else.
Any help will be appreciated thank you.

Old post, maybe you've fixed it.
If the problem still persists, just restart the interface, it's in the View menu (second from top).
If that doesn't fix it, you should re-enable the elements you need for your task.
You'll find all sticky elements below the interface restart menu.

…and if the whole application has frozen, including the menu bar, you could try to delete the OBS support and preference files located in the macOS library;

Navigate to
/Library/Application Support

Move the “obs-studio” folder to a safe place (i.e. the desktop of your computer)

Try to launch OBS Studio again.

If OBS Studio launches normally, there were corrupted files preventing it to start up.
