Question / Help I deleted my OBS is there a way to retrieve my old settings?

I deleted this program my son was using. I have re downloaded and restored to an earlier date before I deleted. That hasn't help.

My son claimed it took him weeks to find the best settings to record his games. I am trying to find a way to retrieve of guidelines to work with his Mindcraft game.

Settings are stored in %appdata%\OBS.

I am working on a prior restore date of a 25th. When my son opens OBS the settings and imagines are not there. can I salvage this information some how?

If the settings folder isn't there you would need to have backed it up, know where the backup is, and restore it to the same location.

That's what I would expect to see in the settings folder. What isn't working? The program just has an older version of its settings?

I deleted the program yesterday not knowing what it was. I am trying to salvage my son's settings and imagines. He claims it took him 3 weeks to find the best settings for the games he records.

Do you have any other suggestions? The only thing I can think of doing is restoring to an earlier date (then 2 days ago) and look for a settings folder.

Uninstalling the program doesn't delete the settings unless you specifically tell it to. In the screenshot you provided the settings appear to be there. Is OBS acting like it's being started for the first time? Not set up at all, no scenes/sources/etc.? I'm trying to get you to explain what exactly isn't working as expected.

Just to be clear I am work on a backed date restore. My son says on the Scene section he should have stuff save label mindcraft and it is only showing Scene and Scene2
