I cant get the best image quality because of this auto focus thing on OBS (Logitech C920)

My cam settings also reset everytime on OBS everytime i disconnect the webcam or when i shutdown my PC, while the focus setting changes all the time from a preferred 60 to like 15

i just recently got this webcam to see if its better than my nexigo 60fps (i got it because of the 60fps) so im new to the whole logi capture and obs settings fiddling.

I also dont have any lighting in front of me like ring lights. i just use the natural lights coming through my window.

Unfortunately Logitech cameras 'forgetting' settings is a very common issue. It's a problem with Logitech's firmware/software, not OBS. OBS just calls their config screen/crossbar when you adjust the properties inside OBS. This includes stuff like auto-options being turned back on. It's not something OBS is doing.
I'd say to contact Logitech about it, but countless people have already, and the issue is still prevalent.

Download and install the drivers from this page, as later drivers are kind of broken and don't work with camcontrol, and extract CamControl into a folder, use cam control to set your settings and save it, then every time you open OBS, open camcontrol next, then close it. It will restore settings. You may have to still turn off some things under the configure video option under your cameras properties in OBS, but you should only need to do this once
