Question / Help I can't figure out how to record in true HD

So im at a complete loss here. I want my recording to be in true HD. I don't want to see any kind of blurring I just want sharp HD recordings. I know youtube is gonna compress my video even more. But if the raw video is still not good enough, its only gonna result in a terrible video. So here's my question, is it my rig? Could it be something else? Why can't I match the level of quality as other youtube videos? I have tried several different settings and followed multiple videos. The results are always the exact same.

It seems this is the best I can get my video to look (Edit: It seems dropbox is much worse than youtube. The raw video does not look this bad)

Here are my computer specs

CPU : Ryzen 7 3700x
GPU : GTX 1650 Super
32gb Ram
Mobo : X570 Phantom Gaming X

Here is my recording settings

1. Use a less fast preset than veryfast.
2. Set your profile to High.
2.1 Strongly recommended that you record to MKV.
3. Post a log after making those changes.

Don't use Low-Latency Quality.
I set it to max quality and I see no difference then before. However I think I know the problem. The game im recording is overwatch. I can't for the life of me find a video that has this "true HD" look that I want. Perhaps it truly is the game lol. Im gonna go ahead and try recording some other games

Use Max Quality and change keyframes to 2, 15 CQP is already pretty good but if you are looking for more then go down to like 12. Also increasing the resolution that you play at can help as well so for example if you are recording at 720p playing at 1440p will help sharpen the overall image but if you are looking for the best quality dont downscale at all and just record at your desired resolution. Again a high resolution will net better clarity so if you can play and record at 1440p or even 4k if your PC can handle it, 1440p is a good threshold, bear in mind you will need to keep an eye on either CBR or CQP value to compensate for a higher resolution.

So essentially:

1. Use GPU encoding, your Turing Architecture on the GPU is already comparable to x264, possibly even better and is less resource intensive.
2. Be sure to use CQP at or below 15 (if you are looking for pure quality)
3. If you must downscale make sure you are doing it in the Video tab of your OBS Software, and be sure to choose either Bicubic 16 Samples or Lanczos 32 Samples Sharpened scaling. However if you are after pure quality just simply record at whichever resolution you are playing at which I'm assuming is 1080p or more in addition you can cheat slightly by adding VERY LITTLE sharpening as a filter on the gameplay capture, a little goes a long way, but may not be necessary if you are already recording at 1080p with high enough bitrate (but some people like the look of it and it can potentially help fight compression once uploaded to youtube)
