And I have another problem when I try to create a new display capture it show that I can select my main monitor but it show black screen
But when I do add existing and use one I create quite a while ago I see the screen
Anyone can help me please?

Thanks and sorry for bad English
Finally, I found the solution. The main problem is which section you connected your 2 cables (2 monitors) behind the case, you have to connect both cables in 1 section (1 left, 1 right). Because the HDMI cable has two choices to connect with our computer case, we have to choose the right one which near the VGA cable.

Ran into this same issue, I still can't figure out how to get OBS to recognize both monitors at the same time, but I did figure out how to get it to switch between one or the other. Make sure OBS is closed, then go into windows display settings, click on your secondary monitor, then click the box "make this my main display." Now start OBS. You still only have 1 display available, but at least its the secondary monitor. Once OBS was started, I was able to go back into windows settings and turn my 1st monitor back into my main monitor and OBS still recognized only my second monitor. I believe OBS sets which monitor its going to use when it starts up.

@prestonwhited Thank you, it worked!!

  1. Closed OBS app
  2. Selected my 2nd monitor and checked "Make this my main display"
  3. Opened OBS app again
  4. I can now see both Display!
By the way, Both monitors are plugged into the same graphic card GTX 1060. One is plugged in with HDMI and the other one with DVI.

Peace

I'm really wondering, what went wrong between "old" and "new" versions regarding Display Capture? On my laptop OBS v25 just doesn't see neither main screen, nor HDMI input. No matter what I set up in GFX settings. OBS v0.15 works a treat on both displays. This should really be number one priority to fix this issue.

For my one, my issue is that it only works on my 1080p monitor display. It doesn't work on my 1440p monitor display at all. For display capture, all I get is the black screen and I tried the whole power savings thing, but that didn't work. I even swapped my main display and that didn't work either.

What's the issue here, I really don't know. Can someone help?
