I can still capture my windows but i just can't capture the whole monitor. Can any one tell me why??

Ok dude can you check out this: Settings - Video - Video Adapter - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760M. (make sure that it's checked on Nvidia). Then restart OBS and try screen capture ( and disable Aero with the screen capture). And your laptop it's strong to run a stream so it's not because of that

dude hes using win8 ... you dont disable aero on win8
make sure you read the sticky for laptop users with blackscreen problem in this case since you have to chose the right graphic adapter for obs to use
