Question / Help I can only have one capture at a time

I'm haveing this weard thing where i setup one type of capture whether it be monter, windowed, cam, or game and it works fine but if i make another one e.g. cam and game capture. only one will show and one will be black. can anyone help?

Post your logfile and explain what you mean a little better. so you are saying that if you have a webcam and one game capture in the same scene, one of them doesn't show up? what happens when you add them in reverse order?

any type of capture, cus i wan't to have two or more monerter capture at the same time but if i have more that one only one will show and the others are blank and there not over laping eacher.

Maybe you need to read a little more about OBS.

you only have 1 monitor so 1 monitor capture will be live at a time.

Second there is no way your PC will be able to handle 900p 25fps with the faster preset. If you are local recording, then just set the buffer to 0 and the preset to superfast.

or

Use quicksync but still set the buffer to 0.

again, this is under the assumption that you are not streaming but only local recording




Unspoken OBS Rules:
one monitor can only be monitor captured once
one game can only be game captured once
I dont recall of window capture falls under the same ordeal, but you can try.

game capture is the only source that can capture full screen and windowed apps/games.

window capture and monitor capture are limited to windowed and windowed no border.
