try to disable all other mic in your recording tap at audio-devices -> then check if it still happens

when u close obs - do you still hear yourself? -> then its windows settings
when u open OBS and u hear yourself -> then its mixer that monitors your mic

remove all mics from your OBS and add them one by one ;)

Oh man...I tried a lot of things found on google. It was only in SLOBS too so kind of got thrown off, but I just so happened upon MY solution. Maybe it will help YOU too, person reading this...

Windows 10: Settings-->Privacy-->scroll down on left side to microphone (can also just search microphone privacy). Toggle "Allow apps to access your microphone" off....then toggle it back on...
