Please help me with this: I am having trouble with the thing about black screens when you try window or game capture. I'm so lost and I can't get rid of this problem. Been doing research about this, but it's no good. I've seen a post saying (I have a laptop) that there is two graphic adapters, one for performance and the other saving power. I followed the instructions but nothing worked, this laptop only have one graphics adapter, and I tried turning on compatibility mode in OBS but nothing seems to change.
What I wanted to capture is a digital painting software window, and I saw the browsers is acting very weird when I use window capture on them. The browsers are Opera and Internet Explorer. On Opera, when I use window and game capture, I get black screens. So I went to use Internet Explorer, and I tried playing a game on it. When I use game capture, I still get a black screen, but when I used window capture, I see the game but there's nothing around it (there was suppose to be ads and links around it but they're all gone, even when I try going full screen, it's stuck sort of) and the game is still functional in the broadcasting screen. I went and tried to capture the digital painting software and I still get black screens from both window and gaming capture. (I tried another broadcasting software called Mishira, I got to record the window of the painting software but it glitches so much, and you can't see the canvas in the capture screens. And again I tried my browsers with Mishira, but still get black screens) Everything else works fine, and monitor capture is the only option to record my screens.
What's bothering me is that the problems might have something to do with my graphics card (Intel HD Graphics).
