The problem I am having is that OBS never works when i want it to, but when i don't want to use it everything works fine. I literally have different problems that persist at once. Black bars appear left and right, no audio from the game is captured, games such as DOOM have a black screen when recording and i occasionally get the captured image in a weird place on the screen with a kind of wet smudge effect (like an imaged warped) coming from the right hand side.
Saying all of this though, OBS worked perfectly fine on Wednesday, but today it decided to cock up. I also have to muck around with the resolution settings for DOOM because otherwise it just black screens on OBS and nothing I can do about it (i want to use 1980 x 1020 but black screen occurs).
I have no idea what I am doing wrong, I have tried virtually every possible solution i can find under the moon and the problems are still existing like the God damn plague. Any help will be greatly appreciated for in advance, thank you :)
