Question / Help Huge fps drop when ingame, ok when tabbed

That's pretty much it. I stream Dota 2 on Game Capture. When I'm ingame, it's like a slideshow. When I tab, it looks fine.
My PC is fine, I've always played with a solid 60 fps.
I realize I don't give much info, so please tell me what you need - PC specs, stream options, I don't really know what you will need to fix my problem.
