Question / Help How when launching a media file, disable camera automatically ?

When I broadcast live, the sound of my external mic which is right with my webcam, has a small lag with the media files ( videos I intend to broadcast ).
Since I present the program live, I talk on camera and launch the videos, but every time I launch a new video, I have to disable the camera immediately using hotkeys, otherwise, the sound goes duplicated on my mixer, and since there´s the mic lag, it causes an echo. So, it would be nice if when I launch a new media file, OBS could disable first the camera automatically. Is there any way ? What about those functions on the media files, is there one that could be used to disable the camera ?

Thanks for any help

If you aren't using the image from the camera while the media file plays, then these could be separate scenes you switch to when playing media, so the camera audio would not be used.

If properly set up, no audio should be providing an echo in any circumstance-- if you're playing media on a speaker in a room with an active microphone, you shouldn't be, and if your system audio is echoing you should eliminate the cause of that as well.

Thank you ! Your solution is so simple and may be it works. I'm so used to concentrate everything on one general scene that I forgot that when we change the scene, the other things are cancelled. Perhaps there's a time in order to OBS deactivate all the other elements during the transition, but I'll test it in the next hours. Thank you so much.
