Hello!

i am trying to setup af livestream with OBS :)

i want to use 3 camcorders as 3 different sources that can be switched between (if this is possible)

my problem is i have 2 different cameras: a Panasonic HC-x920 with usb, mini hdmi and an A/V outputs (i have 3 of these). And a gopro Hero3 with micro hdmi and mini usb outputs (i have 2 of these).

i have tried to connect every camera but OBS doesnt recognize any of them??

does anyone have any idea what to do from here on ?

To my knowledge, neither of those cameras support actually piping their video through their USB; the USB is just for taking the video off the storage medium once it's shot. To use them live, you need to capture the AV or (preferably) HDMI. I don't know if the Panasonic allows for "clean" HDMI out, either, which is something to check (if you can get it outputting without UI elements on-screen). The cheapest hardware I know of for this that'll get you good quality is the Aver C127, and you'll need one per camera.

If they all offered USB and webcam drivers, they would probably work with OBS right away. Maybe you can search some more info on using the usb port of your gopro as a webcam.

The other option is to use capture cards that offer inputs fitting your camera outputs. so probably hdmi, but unfortunately cards with more than one input can get expensive quite fast so you will probably have to search around a bit.
In the end it might be cheaper to get 3 webcams, depending on what you plan on doing with them.
