How to use OBS for podcast recording

Hello.

I have a few questions about the OBS application.
1. I understand that the software is accessible with screen readers such as JAWS. Is this correct? I am blind and use a screen reader to navigate this application on my pc.
2. Is it possible to use the OBS software for recording a podcast with multiple participants? We would have up to 5 channels being recorded during our podcast.
3. If the above is possible, is it then possible to export all audio files into an application such as Reaper for editing. And will these multiple files be in sync with each other or is manual syncing required?
4. If #3 above is not available, would it be possible to record all 5 participants within OBS including playback of stereo recordings (items), pan these participants within the stereo field, apply audio leveling, noise gating, compression etc and then export a completed audio file in stereo?

Many thanks in advance.

OBS is primarily a tool for live video acquisition, compositing and creation. Major emphasis is on live video production. For example, it's not possible to record or stream audio only - it's always both video with audio track(s) created. OBS might not be the best tool for an audio-only production. You might want to look for audio mixers and recorders. For example, look for Voicemeeter (mixer app) and Audacity (multi track audio recorder and postprocessing app).

Thanks for coming back to me. Is there something called OBS multichannel that I could use?

Did you know that you can import an MP4 video file into Audacity? I've done just that for some of my audio podcasts. Record in OBS Studio and bring it into Audacity for post processing. Right now, I looking into getting the most out of OBS for recording my own podcast.
