Question / Help How to use NVIDIA control panel to set OBS to run on NVIDIA GPU?

In a previous thread with someone who had a similar problem to mine, a solution someone provided was to set OBS to run on your NVIDIA GPU in the NVIDIA control panel. But when I go to do just that, I don't have the option. I'll provide a screenshot below. How do I do this?

Then that solution doesn't apply to you,

So only laptops running Nvidia have a setting in the control panel to prioritze apps?

Radeon + intel combo laptops also have the setting to assign programs to specific video cards.

Starting with Windows 10 1903, the method for setting which GPU to use has changed. Here's a link with instructions to the updated method:
