Question / Help How to upload to Twitch and YouTube at the same time

Can OBS upload to Twitch and YouTube from the same computer at the same time?
If so how do I do that?
I was able to do this with Xsplit but it was really laggy.. I'm hoping OBS will allow it and be less laggy.
Any advice on how to do this will help, thank you!

I have two follow up questions then...
When is the estimated rewrite to be launched?
And it seems you may have alluded to that you may know a way now by using other software, if so could you lead me to a working solution please? Thank you! :)
 
An alpha version of the rewrite is expected to come out sometime in early 2014.

If you want to do that now, it's rather complicated to set up. You would have to set up an RTMP server (guide 1: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2651 and guide 2: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=5873) and then set up two push destinations in the nginx config. The instructions to do that should be in one of those posts.
 
Alternatively, if you have a Sandy/Ivy/Haswell i5/i7, you can run a second instance of OBS and encode using QuickSync so you don't add additional CPU load. Do keep in mind this essentially doubles your upload requirement.
 
It's going well, it's in progress as we speak, and hopefully will start having test versions at some point in the near future.
