Question / Help How to take advantage of new CPU?

Just recently, I acquired a 2.83 GHz Quadcore Processor to replace my 3.16 GHz Dualcore one. Despite the slightly slower clock speed, I was hoping the two extra cores would make a big enough impact and allow me to squeeze more performance out with higher framerate and/or resolution but it seems no different than before, chugging if I set it to anything higher than what the Dualcore was capable of.

Post OBS log files from the previous CPU and the new CPU.

Assuming your new CPU is actually better, you should be able to increase the resolution, framerate, or encode at a better quality preset, or some combination of the above.
