Question / Help How to stretch the image on stream?

I play cs:go on a 4:3 aspect ratio and a 1280-960 resolution. When i try to stream my game, the stream comes up with black-bars on either side. Ive tried to right-click the csgo source->properties->and click the box that says "stretch image to screen", and ignore "aspect ratio". It wont stretch to fit the screen.

I watch proffesional gamers everyday streaming perfectly with their settings the same as mine, but i just cant figure out what to put my video settings to so the stream matches my screen.

What do i do? What should my video settings be put too?

You can use either CTRL or ALT (I forgot) to stretch the image as you please. Just know that doing that will bring up pixel distortion, so your video may potentially not look as good by altering it too much.

People keep telling me there is a way to stretch it.. I just cant figure it out. CTRL or ALT or even SHIFT doesnt do anything for me.

Given that your circular minimap will become egg shaped when you do that, I wouldn't recommend doing it.

But i mean. Summit1g, used to stream cs go on 1024-768 4:3. And it looked perfect on his stream. And by perfect i mean it was identical to the way it was for him watching his own screen.

And yet i keep reading that the screen will be all weird and out of shape... there has got to be a way to do this

Then don't stream in a 16:9 resolution. Set your viewport to 4:3. It will only letterbox on widescreen displays then.
