Question / Help How to stream with 2 pcs?

How do streamers such as Shroud stream with 2 pc's and have little delay and high quality? About to buy a streaming pc and I need to know how to set this up, thanks!

They use a capture card. What delay are you talking about? And high quality comes with high encoding performance in general Thread count in combination with Clockspeed and depending on the image thats going to be encoded.

Sorry on the late response, I dont know about the delay part i was just wondering. but how would I use the capture card from one pc to the other?

Well you either buy a PCI Capture Card or a USB Capture Card. The capture cards should have the property to fedge the same input resolution as your monitor ideally capable of doing so with 60fps.

And then you go out of your GPU with HDMI into the capture card installed in the second pc and out of the capture card to your monitor.

You could also use an HDMI splitter but thats not recommended with some brands.

You can also use the NDI plugin and two copies of OBS; you use one machine to play the game and capture the audio and video, and rebroadcast that on your local network at a very high bitrate to the 2nd PC, which captures the NDI output and then compresses that for other streaming services. Delay is about 1 second or so if your PCs and your network are up to it.
