Hello all,
I recently downloaded OBS and have worked my way through a few kinks already but there is one issue that I can't resolve on my own.
I am wanting to do an audio/video podcast where I have myself on screen in the corner while I play news videos on screen and can pause them to comment. I've gotten my webcam working and arranged in the bottom corner of the screen and have done a test stream to youtube which is working great.
I downloaded the video plugin for OBS but as far as I can tell it is not capable of pausing the video.
the other option I have tried is to play it in an external software such as windows media or VLC media player then using the window capture option for that program which works okay but it seems that every time I start the program I have to re select the region of the player that I want to show which becomes tedious.
Is there any plugin that plays the video directly in OBS but gives it a pause capability? Or any other tips you guys can provide would be great. Thank you.
