At our company we want to stream our user testing sessions in-house, so developers can watch from a different room while the test is going on.
I have set up streaming to a certain client using a specific IP address following the instructions at https://helping-squad.com/obs-studio-send-an-udp-stream-to-a-second-pc-using-obs/. Works so far.
For backup reasons I need to record the output locally too, since the connection is sometimes unstable. The problem is, that I cannot broadcast to a broadcasting address, only to the specific client IP address, because of company restrictions. Therefore I cannot just open VLC locally and record the stream. Since the OBS recording functionality is also not available due to the streaming workaround described in the tutorial above, I can't use that either.
Any suggestions what I could try?
