How to stop mouse pointer from being recorded

My first post on this forum.
I'm wondering how I can stop the mouse pointer from being recorded when recording a game. (Trainz Railroad Simulator)
There is no need for a log file with this issue.

The system cursor can be hidden as this is rendered by the O/S. OBS simulates the drawing of the cursor and can be told to hide it for the three capture types (Game, Display, Window) by unchecking the Capture Cursor Property.

If the application renders its own cursor there is no way to hide it unless there is an option to turn it off in the game.
