I'm trying to connect to a remote camera from a different ISP location --- and it's not working.
I'm using the format (for the Input in OBS Media Sources): RTSP://[username]:[password}@[WAN Camera IP Address:554/1]
I forwarded port 554 to my camera's LAN IP address on the router at the camera's location.
I am able to open my camera's (HTTP) Web Interface (using the camera's WAN IP Address) from a different ISP location on a different port which was also forwarded on the router at my camera's location --- and the camera image is displayed in the camera's http web interface page --- and (through the cameras web interface) I can even control the camera's PTZ.
I am able to view the RTSP camera image in OBS using the same format listed in item 2 above --- from a remote location, but inside the same ISP location.
Camera: PTZOptics Model: PT20X-USB-GY-G2
What am I doing wrong?
