Question / Help How to setup OBS with PS4

I used OBS multiplatform with my PS3 just fine. Having issues getting OBS to work with PS4 though. Hauppauge capture works but it isn't as good a program as OBS. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to give us a bit more detail about what isn't working. Presumably you are just trying to use the same scene and sources as you used with your PS3 is that correct? What do you see in the preview. Give us some more details about how you've got everything connected, HDMI I assume and what Hauppauge you are using.

I am using hdmi. I have the hdcp turned off on the ps4. I am using a video capture device source. The same I used for the ps3. The only difference is I had to go into hauppauge capture and change the input from component to hdmi to get the ps4 to show up on my screen. It is working with the hauppauge capture software but not OBS.

OK thanks, I haven't got a Hauppauge so I am not sure how it works but the one thing I can think of that's changed is that your input has switched from 720 to 1080. If you go into the properties of the source for the Hauppauge and choose the Configure option can you try changing the resolution, either to Default, or Custom and manually choose 1920x1080.

Update. It works now. I did nothing. It just showed up in obs. Same settings as last time. I switched to hdmi and there it was. Very strange.
